Enrolment Information

The process of enrolment consists of completing a waiting list form that is accessible for download via the website by pressing the “Waiting List Form” button. Families are encouraged to email these to the Preschool at admin@medowiepreschool.com.au to secure a waitlist position.

When a position becomes available a parent will be notified by the Nominated Supervisor or Office Manager.

Upon enrolment the parent is given an information package including the following:

  • Initial Interview Enrolment Form
  • Parent Agreement
  • Membership Form
  • Information Booklet
  • Belonging, Being and Becoming Form
  • Family Income Form
  • Application for Subsidised Fee (if required)
  • Medical Management Communication Plan(if required)

Prior to child’s commencement date:

  • An orientation visit (tour of preschool, answer parent questions, and give program and service information) will take place.
  • Parents will return all paperwork (given in information package)
  • Parents will need to provide a certified copy of the enrolled child’s birth certificate as proof of age.
  • A copy of the enrolled child’s Immunisation History Statement from Medicare.
  • Any other relevant information relating to the child must be given to the centre e.g. Doctor’s reports, Court documents, speech reports, action plans etc. All documents will be kept confidential.
  • Preferences for specific days will be considered and will be organised according to the needs of families.

In order to maximise our Government Funding, we have adopted a 5 day a fortnight enrolment pattern. Our week is divided into two groups, The Suns at the beginning of the week and the Stars at the end of the week.

During Term 3 enrolments for the following year will be organised by the Nominated Supervisor and Office Manager. At this time appointments will be made for an orientation visit for families to visit the preschool. This is a good opportunity for parents to gain information about the operation of the Centre
